Vincent VanGogh (1853 - 1890) was a revolutionay Dutch Impressonist artist who has changed the way we looked at art in the modern world. Born in Zundert, Holand this influential artist created about 2100 works over his artistic career, most of which were cerated in the last 2 years of his life. Characterized by his bold, dramatic use of colours and his expressive, daring brush work VanGogh contributed to the frameworks of modern art. at the age of 37 he commited suicide after a lifetime of sorrow, poverty and overwhelming depression.
